The founding operation

Priority First,
on the record.

Priority First is the London security & facilities company run by Pulse's founding team — the operation Pulse was built inside. It used to run on spreadsheets, WhatsApp and paper sign-in sheets. Today it runs 24 sites on Pulse — security patrols and FM together, more than 4,900 patrols completed, every checkpoint backed by a photo, and a portal its clients log into. This is how the switch went.

Before & after

From “take our word for it”
to proof on every job.

Before Pulse

  • Patrols signed on paper; the office chased officers for updates on WhatsApp.
  • When a client asked “was everything OK last night?” there was no evidence — just a phone call and a promise.
  • Missed-patrol disputes came down to one person's word against another's.
  • Security ran in one place, FM and compliance in spreadsheets and inboxes.
  • Statutory certificates and expiries lived in a folder nobody checked until it was late.

After Pulse

  • Every checkpoint is proven with a watermarked photo — officer, site, GPS and timestamp.
  • Clients log into a portal, under the company's own brand, and see patrols delivered vs contract themselves.
  • Repeat problems surface automatically as recurring findings, so the cause gets fixed, not just the symptom.
  • Security and FM run on one login — patrols, incidents, work orders and compliance together.
  • A compliance runway flags every expiry before it lapses, audit-ready all year.
The proof

A photograph,
not a tag scan.

The team deploys a three-patrol schedule per site every 24 hours — external, full, external — on night cover. Officers verify each checkpoint with a photo, watermarked with who was there, where, and when. It works even where there's no signal: the app queues and syncs when the connection returns. The days of “was anyone actually there?” are over.

The relationship

The page that
renews the contract.

Instead of emailing reports, the company gives each client a portal under its own brand: patrols delivered against contract, photo evidence per checkpoint, incidents with response times, and honest numbers — the portal never shows a flattering 100% when nothing happened. Transparency became the reason clients stay.

We used to take everyone's word for it. Now every checkpoint has a photo and the client can see it before we've finished the shift — it's changed how we win work.

Inside the operation

Four stories
from one 24-site operation.

A uniformed officer checking a door on patrol
Landmark mixed-use development

152 checkpoints. Zero guesswork.

Retail, residential, plant rooms and service yards on one of West London's best-known streets. Every one of the 152 checkpoints needs a photograph to complete — so a missed area shows up as a gap in the record, not a dispute six weeks later.

Sixteen buildings, provable every night.

Multi-building rounds are where patrols quietly go missing. Each building is its own site in Pulse with its own evidence trail, so the estate sees delivered-vs-contract per building — and a door that keeps failing surfaces once as a recurring finding, then gets fixed.

Every parcel accounted for.

Concierge work is invisible work — until a resident asks “where's my delivery?”. Every parcel is logged on arrival with a photo and signed out on collection: a chain of custody, not a shelf. Patrols, keys and deliveries in one app, so any officer picks up where the last left off.

Mobilisation

Three new sites, live in days.

Mobilisation is where contracts traditionally wobble: lost site knowledge, weeks of bedding in. Because checkpoints, site notes, prior issues and inductions live in the platform, three buildings added in one July fortnight were producing photographed patrols within days of the handshake.
